Frequently asked questions

How long of a lead and production time for each project?

The length of time spent on each project varies. I do ask for a minimum of 6 weeks for smaller projects but generally I look for 8-12 weeks or longer for larger projects. I’ve found that timeline is best in order to produce a product and piece I am satisfied with and willing to install into your space. I do not rush and prefer not to. If you are looking for a shorter turn around time I can evaluate how long it may take and we can go from there.

How do change orders affect timeline and price?

If a change is made mid project regardless if the material is staying the same, there will be a charge to cover the change order write up as well as a design cost. This will vary depending on the type of change being made. All change orders will affect timeline and the schedule will adjust accordingly with **no exceptions.

Why does the project take as long as it does?

I am a one person shop and choose to keep it that way. The other unavoidable fact is that these are completely custom made! I am not a RTA (Ready to Assemble) cabinet shop. All of the material starts in the raw and is cut piece by piece by me.

SALES

At this time I do not accept Credit Card payments. I realize the inconvenience of that but it is just something that I am not prepared to maintain in terms of paperwork and tracking. As a small business, I have my hands in all aspects of this business. The more time spent at my computer means less time actually producing work.

Payments I do accept… Cash, check, and Venmo. The first two are always preferable.
